A little bit about me

I grew up in Vermont with 3 younger siblings that I helped care for. My little brother was 2 yrs younger than me so I helped him with his homework when needed. My younger sisters I cared for from when they were newborns until they were 2 because I moved to CT to live with my Grandparents to go to high school out here.. I took childcare safety and cpr classes back then and I can take another class to update my certification. During the day when I cared for my sisters I would read to them and the older one of the 2 liked to do artwork so we would have art time where she liked to draw and color. We also would go for walks and bake cookies. I also babysat for my bosses daughter during that time as well. I’m very good with children I have a lot of patience and make an effort to understand where they are coming from so they don’t get upset to prevent any tantrums that some children may get. I’m good at helping them learn and I know reading and activities are good for children's development.
