Hello! I have 17 years of experience nannying, teaching in daycare, preschools, elementary school programs, summer camps, and as a birth and postpartum doula and infant care specialist focusing on nutrition and healthy sleep habits. I have a degree in Exercise Science previously used for youth and adult personal training and group exercise. Continuing Education is important to me and I plethora of additional trainings all related to childcare. I have an interest in infant sign language and early potty training and prefer Montessori or reggio style, fostering independence, real life experience, and love for the outdoors and all things homemaking. My experience with special needs children...

My experience is mainly with children with behavioral needs ( difficult behaviors, sensory issues, autism, food aversion) although I have cared for a children with CP and briefly one teen who was a paraplegic. I have been allowed to sit in on occupational and physical therapy visits for multiple children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching my son have his first sleepover at my house on his trundle bed with his bestie Dylan, a boy I nannied when they both were born. It's been amazing to watch them grow up together and they are still close even though Dylan is at a different school.
