A little bit about me

Hi, I’m a mom of four children, ages 20, 17, 11, and 10. Currently, and for the past 3 years, I have worked as a home visitor with Help Me Grow, and I am credentialed by the Ohio Department of Health as a home visitor. As a Help Me Grow home visitor, I support prenatal and new parents, as well as their children, by sharing information on developmental milestones and parenting skills, administering various assessments, and encouraging positive parent-child interactions. Before working for Help Me Grow, I was a stay-at-home mom for many years, during which I volunteered in different capacities at my children’s schools and at church. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mount Union in 1997. I have been certified in both CPR and first aid in the past but need to renew these certifications. Most of all, I love working with children, caring for them, and ensuring they feel loved while also assisting them in growing physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
