I have done a lot of volunteer work with children. I have run a children program with 20+ kids with organized activities for 8 hours a day for 5 days/week for 3 weeks. I have helped with day care during women's book clubs and Bible studies, etc. I have experience with children of all ages and have always loved working with them!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing tag, soccer, trucks, swinging, jumping on trampolines, playing with sand, and much more outdoor activities. I also greatly enjoy reading books to children, watching movies, playing board games, building pillow forts, playing hide and seek, and many more indoor games.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with autism, physical restrictions, and down syndrome. I watched a young boy with down syndrome 3 days/week every week for 3 years when he was 4-7 years old. I also cared for a boy with autism for a year when his mother was in a Bible study once a week. I love working with special needs children and I am always willing to learn!
