Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at a daycare for 4 years. Here we maintained schedules, meals, nap time, and enforced curriculum. I have also spent time as a peer tutor in school when I would accompany special needs kids to class in order to keep them happy and on task.

I love helping kids to be active and get out of the house to play and exercise. I also love doing art projects that allow kids to express their creativity.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is allowing age appropriate independence for growth but also offering assistance and endearment as part of that growth. Children are extremely capable. I believe it is important to let them show us what they can do as an individual before we try to do it for them which also allows more confidence and trust within themselves.

I’ve done peer tutor all throughout high school and I also have multiple special needs children at my current occupation in which I take care of in a daycare setting.
