More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have eight years of hands‑on childcare experience spanning both classroom and in‑home settings. I began as a preschool teacher in a 1–2 year‑old classroom from 2016 to 2018, then transitioned into full‑time nannying. My first family had twin infants, whom I cared for from three months old through age five, until the family relocated out of state. I then supported another family, caring for their infant from two months old through age two.
Since February 2024, I have been working in an Urgent Care clinic as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist while exploring further education in nursing or Physician Assistant programs. This medical experience has strengthened my knowledge of child health, safety, and emergency awareness, complementing my childcare background.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I tailor activities to each child’s age and to the family’s preferences, but overall I gravitate toward hands‑on, engaging experiences. I love tactile play, lots of conversation, and involving children in everyday tasks so they can learn through participation. Getting outside is important to me: walks, park time, and outings to museums or the library when approved by parents. I enjoy creating simple crafts and games to spark imagination, and I make reading a daily priority.
The most important part about being a nanny...
This work is fulfilling to me because I genuinely find meaning in supporting families. Helping children grow, learn, and feel secure is deeply rewarding, and I also value being someone parents can rely on during such an important stage of life. That same drive to help and support others is what draws me toward a future in healthcare, being part of a family’s well‑being, even in small ways, is incredibly meaningful to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with autism and ADHD in all ages of children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is the ongoing relationship I built with the first family I nannied for. I cared for their twin infants from three months old through age five, and even after they moved to Texas we’ve stayed closely connected. We still visit each other, and I keep in touch with the twins, now seven, regularly. Maintaining that bond has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career so far.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Claire T.
I've been working as a nanny for over 16 years, for 10 of those years I have also nannied children with various disabilities, and for 8 of those years I've also been working as a pediatric behavioral therapist! Caring for children, supporting and encouraging their development, isn’t just a job to me, it’s a vocation! I have a bachelors degree in developmental neuroscience and one in psychology and I plan to get my masters in Occupational Therapy. I've also been doing internships and volunteering in OT clinics for 7 years and they are really the developmental specialists so my experience is really diverse! I love to set up various age appropriate little activities and incorporate sensory play into them. I really love to do learning through play and imagination- learning should always be fun! I am happy to get messy (and of course clean it up), and I am very, very patient and I hold calm and consistent boundaries. Also, tiny human snuggles and giggles are the best things in the world!
Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Beck F.
I started babysitting at 13 and my passion for children started there. I was a nanny (part and full time) for 9 years before taking a 2 years off of full time nannying to try something new. Though I never stopped babysitting as caring for children is something I find joy in. I am now back because the love I have for this field increased with my time away.
I believe in being kind, flexible yet scheduled, and creative as a nanny. My personal life consists of being outside, crafts, and my friends.
Open to part and full time work.
I am so excited to help your family!
