My previous experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant at Valley Learning Center, where I worked closely with children and families and helped create a safe and positive environment. I also worked as a live-in nanny for a family, caring for their 3-year-old son from morning to bedtime while his parents were out of town. I handled his daily routine, including meals, daycare drop-off and pickup, playtime, bedtime, and keeping the home tidy.

I enjoy doing activities that keep children engaged while also allowing them to have fun and be creative. I like playing outside, going to parks, reading, doing arts and crafts, playing age-appropriate games, and simply spending time with them and getting to know what they enjoy. I’m also happy to follow a child’s interests and come up with activities based on their personality and age.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure a child feels safe, cared for, and comfortable while also creating a fun and positive environment. It’s important to be responsible and dependable, but also patient, attentive, and willing to understand each child’s individual personality and needs.

I don’t have direct experience caring for children with special needs, but I’m patient, attentive, and willing to learn. I understand that every child has different needs and I would always follow the parents’ guidance and make sure the child feels safe, comfortable, and supported.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a nanny was getting to see how comfortable and happy the child became as we got into our daily routine. I really enjoyed the little everyday moments, like playing together, getting ready for daycare, and having fun during the day. It was rewarding to build a connection with him and become someone he felt comfortable and happy around.
