A little bit about me

I’ve worked as a DCFS licensed in home daycare provider for 35 years working with kids 6 weeks to 5 years. I also have experience with special needs. I loved my job but have since moved here to Florida and looking to work with kids again!
I gave a loving learning environment for each child to reach their milestones at their own pace. I prepared a preschool lesson daily for a mixed range of ages. I love to sing, read, and play each day with lots of outdoor time!
I had 6 children of various ages everyday to care for. I took care of their daily needs such as preparing nutritious meals and snacks, bottles, naps, free play and activities. As well as letting parents know how their day went both verbally and written.
I’m hoping to be able to help out families again and take part in watching their children grow.

I love to do learning activities through play. I love to be outside kicking balls, playing bubbles, exploring nature. I love to read books and sing songs. I love to be on the floor with babies crawling around and learning to navigate their surroundings.

My experience with special needs children...

I have provided care to special needs children who have Epilepsy, Downs Syndrome and Cornelia De Lange Syndrome and those on the Autism spectrum. I also have provided Respite Care to many families with special needs children in prior years to providing in home daycare.
