More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a youth teacher in my church for 4 years, I babysat neighbors during that time and in the years following. I spent a few months as a part time nanny in spring of ‘24, then returned to babysitting neighbors. I have been a full time nanny since August ‘25, and to date.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading, coloring, playing outside, cooking, and playing with toys, going on walks, playing at the park, flash cards, and much more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Children require constant attention and care, parents often can’t do that due to a variety of reasons ranging from medical conditions, to work schedules and much more. As a nanny, my job is to step in where the parents cannot. I am not there to replace the parent, but rather fill the gaps that a child needs. Whether that be school drop offs and pick ups, homework time, bedtime, meals, potty training, playtime, or anything else. A parent’s restrictions should never be the child’s burden.

I have cared for many children with ASD, ADHD, OCD, ODD, GAD, and more.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I had in my care a large group of children ages 1 - 10. In that group was a 7 year old girl with high needs as far as emotional control. She was very overwhelmed with the idea of doing her chores and was begining to panic. I noticed almost immediately and began trying to help her settle. She was able to unfurl her body and take deep breaths to calm down. I was very proud of her for this, as she usually takes a long time to settle, yet did this mostly on her own.
