Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love finding fun ways to blend learning with play, both indoors and outdoors! Outside, we can explore nature on a scavenger hunt, searching for different leaves, rocks, and insects, or try a nature art project by collecting materials for a creative masterpiece. Indoors, we can dive into storytelling and craft colorful characters or create DIY science experiments with household items. Whether it’s building forts, planting a garden, or making a sensory bin, I believe every activity is an opportunity to spark curiosity and creativity in kids!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine, trusting connection with the children in my care. It’s not just about making sure they’re safe and entertained—it's about being there for them emotionally, understanding their unique needs, and helping them feel seen and heard. Watching them grow, learn, and thrive while knowing I played a part in that journey is truly what drives my passion. Being a nanny is about nurturing their curiosity, encouraging their confidence, and creating a space where they can feel loved and supported every day.
My experience with special needs children...
As a registered behavior technician (RBT), I have gained extensive experience working with children with special needs, providing individualized support to help them thrive. I am skilled in implementing behavior intervention plans, using positive reinforcement techniques, and tailoring strategies to each child's unique needs. My background has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of various behavioral challenges and the best approaches to foster communication, independence, and emotional growth. I take pride in creating a compassionate, structured environment where every child feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember being at work with a kiddo, I was sitting on the floor, building a castle out of blocks. As we stacked the pieces higher, I could see their eyes lit up with excitement when the tower stood tall—only to topple over with a giggle. Without hesitation, we started again, laughing and creating new designs. In that moment, I felt a rush of joy, reconnecting with my own childhood wonder. I realized then that being a nanny isn't just a job for me; it’s a chance to embrace that playful spirit, nurture it in others, and share in the magic of learning and growing together. It was a simple, sweet moment, but one that affirmed my passion for guiding children through their own journey of discovery.
