A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Debra. I have many years of experience caring for children. I have two adult daughters and one grand child. We've also had a family owned and operated preschool. I was Director of 8 employees and in the preschool we cared for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. I have an Early Childhood Education Degree. I have taken many classes such as SIDS training, medicine administering, food program, CPR and first aid, etc. I have a clean background check and I have taken the covid vaccine. I've always been around children. I enjoy them! My goal is to provide a safe and loving environment while the parents are working or out. I'm happy to send photos and videos throughout the day to let you know that your little one is well taken care of. I have two adult daughters in their twenties and one 6 year old granddaughter so I have many, many years of experience. I have been a Nanny for years. I have been around children all of my life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love watching children learn through play. I love singing to them, coloring, building blocks, going on walks, pushing them in the stroller and going to the park. I also love the simple things as well such as watching a favorite movie with your child and cuddling. I enjoy swimming. I also enjoy taking the children to fun little classes such as singing and dancing at the library, things like that.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me I feel that the most important part of being a Nanny is to be there to provide a loving, nurturing and warm environment for the babies and children while the parents are working. I also am happy to send photos and videos throughout the day to let the parents know that their child is doing well and having a great day! I know that this reassures the parents so that they can feel safe at work and focus knowing their little one is well taken care of. Being a Mom of two adult daughters and having a 6-year-old granddaughter myself, I always treat the babies and children like they are my own. For me it is also important to be patient and loving to make the child feel safe until their parents return.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Mostly everything! I love caring for babies and children! I love interacting with them and watching them grow. One of my favorite things is to watch them experience life through their precious eyes. For babies, I enjoy watching them learn things for the first time. I love to have fun, sing with them, play with them and do fun things so they can learn through play. I love cuddling them and making them feel safe, that's the best!
