As a nanny I’ve experienced several moments of joy and happiness with children but what stands out the most for me is putting a smile on their face. Making a child feel comfortable around me and just playing their favorite games or reading their favorite books then watch them pretending to be sleeping and watching me with one eye close and the other open.
