Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like watching classic movies such as Ice Age, Alvin and The Chipmunks, Finding Nemo etc etc. I also like to do treasure hunts, arts and crafts, make forts, hide and seek etc. (but I always make sure to get everything pre approved by their parents). I like to do the classic stuff like from my childhood because they were so much more pure, active and memorable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is the kids. Being a nanny means to put their safety/needs/wants/ first and to respect the parents do’s and don’ts with them. Putting the kids I take care of 1st is my number 1 priority.
My experience with special needs children...
I use to work with disabled kids, it was an internship and although it may have proved to be difficult at times it was very enjoyable and an educational experience for both me and the kids. I loved that job and hope to be able to get in that field someday.
