I believe the most important part to be the child’s safety. That is always my top priority even if I seem like the “bad guy” sometimes, it’s always only to keep them safe. This is followed by having fun! I love to have fun and explore different games and activities as long as everyone is safe and sound.

I worked with Kindergarten and first graders in a sub separate classroom as the long term substitute teacher. Some of the students had autism, other mental illnesses, or physical disabilities. I learned a lot about different kinds of learners during this time.
