Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered at a kindergarten school in Kathmandu, Nepal. I also volunteered in Naples, Italy where I worked with high school students. I was then an au pair in Barcelona, Spain caretaking a 6 year old, 3 year old, and a 1 year old. I have babysat since I was very young. I also worked as an educator at an outdoor science camp with students kindergarten - high school. I have experience working as an outdoor educator for 5th graders. The last year I have been au pairing in various countries with a wide range of ages and cultures. I have been able to adapt and learn about the different cultural differences through the eyes of the children which has been incredibly fulfilling!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For indoor activities- paying games, reading books, coloring, cooking, dancing and playing music/ singing, etc. For outdoor activities- going on walks, going to the park and playing games, sports activities, water coloring, reading, climbing, hiking, biking, swimming, putting together a picnic, and exploring everywhere!
