I volunteered at a daycare for 2 years in highschool. I loved being with the infants and taking care of them. I’m a current nanny for a 11 year old and a 14 year old. I’ve been with them for 2.5 years. I’ve also worked at a local daycare for 10 months!

The most important part about being a nanny is the parents being comfortable and confident with you while they are not home. Not having to worry about your kids while you are running errands , on a date night or at work is very important.I also believe being a sense of comfort is extremely important for the kids.

My favorite nanny moment was when I nannied for twins. As a twin myself , I always find it so funny how twins interact especially as infants. When one would cry the other one would slowly start whining.
