A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Demi’ and I’m a dancing, self-proclaimed chef that uses empathy, open communication, and humor to create a fun environment for the children I am fortunate enough to work with. I have my BS in Human Development and Family Studies (Penn State) and my MSW in Children and Families (USC). I have also gained much experience in behavioral management and special needs populations during my time as a Registered Behavioral Therapist in school, clinic, and in-home settings. I have been a camp counselor for ages 13-17, after school supervising counselor for elementary aged students, as well as worked in my fair share of daycare centers/preschools. Despite not having any children of my own, I understand and appreciate the importance of fostering a healthy environment for children especially when given the trust of their parents and take pride in doing my part in being a component of the village it takes to help a child grow!
