I believe that families and their nannies should work as a team to ensure the best care for the child. Having open communication is also important. .A 6th-grade student came to me seeking help with reading, feeling lost as he didn’t know the alphabet. It was clear how important this was to him, so we started from the very beginning. Together, we worked through phonetics and sight words, and by the end of the school year, he was able to read early children's books. Witnessing his progress and knowing that I could help him in such a meaningful way was incredibly heartwarming for me.
