More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have previously cared for a 14 month old little boy. It was so rewarding to watch him develop non-verbal communication skills through baby sign language. My most recent experience has been a 2 1/2 year old toddler who needed to transition smoothly into preschool after having several major life changes in a short period of time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy making arts and crafts projects with children. I also love to include children in my tasks if they enjoy being little helpers. This might include helping to spread jelly on toast or learning to dry off dishes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is knowing that I’m creating the inner monologue in that child’s head. When I speak positivity into a little boy or girl, those words stick with them forever. As a child, I had a caregiver that was so instrumental in my life. I attribute my love for caregiving to her. She showed me such kindness and love and I aspire to do the same for the children I care for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing that a child has learned the social/ emotional skills I’ve taught them. Sharing with other children, showing empathy to others, or asking for help when they need it.
