More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a preschool assistant where I helped with daily routines, playtime, and snack prep for toddlers (and lots of story time!). I’ve also been a babysitter for several families over the years, caring for kids ages 1–8. On top of that, I was a lifeguard from ages 16 to 20, so safety is always my top priority even during fun! 🛟💛

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts (especially anything with glitter or googly eyes!), going on fun zoo adventures to learn about animals, and even a bit of beginner friendly gardening kids love planting seeds and watching them grow! I also enjoy playing board games, reading storybooks, and organizing little outdoor scavenger hunts when the weather’s nice. 🌿🎨🦁

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, it’s understanding that parents know their children best, so listening to them and respecting their routines is key. My job is to keep their little ones safe, cared for, and happy while creating a space that feels more like a fun hangout than just a babysitting shift. I aim to be someone both kids and parents can feel comfortable with, so everyone has peace of mind. 💕👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was during my time at a daycare, when one of my students had to stay a bit later than usual. He was just three years old, so I decided to make learning math into a fun little game. We practiced simple problems like 1+1, 2+5, and 7+3 using blocks and drawings. He got so excited every time he figured one out! When his mom came to pick him up, he ran to her shouting, “Mommy, look! Ms. Denisse taught me math I’m so smart!!” Moments like that make me love what I do!
