More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for kids in both family and private settings. I regularly helped with my nieces and nephews (from infancy to age 4) and have also taken care of my younger brothers over the years. I worked with two private families as a nanny and occasional cleaner — mainly caring for toddlers and preschool-aged kids, while also helping keep the home tidy. I’m comfortable with a range of ages, from infants to teens, and always aim to create a safe, calm, and supportive space.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure kids feel safe, seen, and comfortable just being themselves. As a psychology major and future MFT, I really value emotional support and building trust — those little things that help a kid feel secure and cared for every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for my three younger brothers, with two having special needs. Growing up with them taught me patience, understanding, and how to adapt to different needs and communication styles. I’m comfortable creating a calm, supportive environment and meeting kids where they’re at.
