I've always worked with children. My biggest role being the oldest sibling. I also do children's ministry at church with littles. In college I did an internship with a high school social worker and was a camp coordinator for kids across many ages, so my experience spans across different ages and backgrounds.

Of course we play outside and go on walks. When I was a child, my nanny took me to the library and that was always fun and exciting so do that with the kids a lot.

Knowing every child is different. Its crucial to be able to pivot because what worked for one family will not work for another.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children who are on the spectrum as both of my little brothers are on the spectrum. My psychology background provides knowledge on some textbook things but I don't have much experience caring for other special needs.

Kids always bring out my inner child. I take pride in making sure the kids know their Disney history by watching old classics but I also enjoy singing along to Encanto too.
