It’s not a requirement for me to be live in. Before nannying I did volunteer work as a daycare helper and also did babysitting for family and friends for extra money over the years and worked for Think Together, an after school program. I’m very enthusiastic, energetic, and outgoing. Im very patient and understanding. I have a nurturing spirit and great common sense. Im prepared for an emergency and safety cautious . I do understand the basics of a child’s development. I’m very social and have always been good with kids. Over the years built bonds and connected with my little cousins, nieces and nephews, and other kids I worked with and been around. I’ve always had a love for kids. I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the children in my care because they are our generation to come. I am respectful, organized, trustworthy, reliable, self motivated, creative, and proactive. I have sound judgment and a clean background. I’m flexible and can do whatever.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at a daycare in high school. I did nannying for two different families the last two years while working at Think Together, an after school program. Through my teen and adult life I baby sat family and friends children when they were at work or going out of town.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor things that has to with arts and craft, learning activities, and board games Etc. I enjoyed the outdoors, so during the spring and summer I like to get out with kids. Go on walks to the parks, play catch, have picnics etc. Also anything like taking broad trips with them to libraries, museums, the zoo, the movies. Things of that nature. Take them anywhere that has a children environment and do things that for children’s entertainment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is me having the ability to be an integral part of a child's development. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress while in my care. The fact that I am with the child for a significant amount of the day makes me realize I largely influence them and can impact their lives. It is a huge responsibility, but also an honor and a privilege to connect with these children and leave a good impact.

My experience with special needs children...

Ive works with kids with autism and premature babies & toddlers when i did volunteer work at the daycare and at my Think Together job. Also i have family who have autism that I had to help look after.
