I worked in my high schools preschool for 2 years and took classes in early childhood education and child development. I also helped raise my 2 youngest sisters as well as babysitting for years before I was an official nanny.

I am a very crafty and artsy person so I always try to do at least one fun craft project with the kids. I am also big on encouraging kids to read so I love to bring in stories to read to the kids.

The most important thing for me personally is the ability to help the kids learn and watch them grow into their own unique people. I love encouraging them to do things they love including art, listening to music, or playing sports. Watching kids get better at doing things they love is a reward on its own.
