A little bit about me

Hello, I am a Gainesville girl, but I have lived in Richmond, VA, D.C., Philly (teacher), and Boca Raton. I always end up back home to be close to my parents. I have a degree in psychology from the University of Florida and have continued to pursue education in many areas throughout the years including a paralegal degree. The most important thing to know about me is my philosophy on being in the presence of children. It is an art! We try to be consistent but must be flexible. We try to show them unconditional acceptance of who they are, while still instilling boundaries for behavior and actions ( if age appropriate).
Ultimately, parents want their children happy, safe, and growing intellectually. At the end of the day that is what I can promise.

Babysitter Available in Gainesville, FL: Ebony H.

I’m Ebony. I am a 17-year-old high school senior. I want to go to school to be a social worker and work directly with children and families, so I see this opportunity to be a babysitter as a stepping stone towards that. Two years in a row, I was a camp counselor in training at Santa Fe’s College for Kids program, and I occasionally work at my church’s kids’ sitting service.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Gainesville, FL: Brooke R.

I have helped my sisters with their babies in raising them and caring for them. My nephew is autistic so I am well versed in how to take care of him. I am expecting but I would love more experience and any tips and advice from parents. I have babysat 3+ kids at a time and wasn’t overwhelmed. I would love to learn more about the family I will be with and I also love animals and can help care for them too! After all, they are like our children too.
