I have been babysitting (non family members) for 8 years. In those 8 years, I took a babysitting course and got CPR certified.
I worked as a lead teacher for 3 years at a preschool. I learned how to manage a classroom, broadened my knowledge of milestones and multi-task. I also was required to take 40 hrs of training courses every year I was there.
I have been a full time nanny for a year with a child starting at 3 months old. I collaborate with the parents on his schedule, plan age appropriate ways of learning through art and play and do light house keeping daily.
