My name is Dominique Kopytowski. I am 44 years old. I have over 19 years total of child care experience. Early on, I realized I had found what I was always meant to do. I love helping people. I enjoy bringing a smile and pleasant energy to work with me. I’d consider myself to be proactive (I’d prefer to always have something to do), I’m extremely timely, very gentle, creative, resourceful, goofy, patient, and with time I pride myself in knowing you and your kids needs without even speaking. I feel as if I’ve mastered the balancing of being the child’s care giver and nurturing them without over stepping.
I am up for almost any task from doing changing diapers to taking vehicles to get maintenance and anything in between.

I have a clean driving record. I do not smoke or do drugs of any kind and I absolutely love animals. I have 2 fur babies myself.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve recently cared for a little girl, who was 2 when I first met her and now she is 3 but as smart as a full grown adult. Momma just had her 2nd daughter and has decided to leave her career, to take on the most important job as a mother, being their for her babies, with 100% of her focus on them, watching them grow without the distractions that come with a career.❤️I was blessed to of had the opportunity to nurture their child while mom powered through pregnancy. With family now close by, their need for an extra caregiver was no longer needed.
Before that, and even to this day, I have worked for the Harris family for over 14 years. While working for them, I discovered my passion for nurturing children and being an integral part of their life. I give them the upmost thanks, for helping me discover my purpose. During these past 14 years I’ve worked for other families as well on an as need basis.
I have also worked with a 19-21 year old, who was a highly functioning autistic gentleman.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside, playing at the park, taking walks, swimming, playing outdoor games, going to the library or to the Museum of Life and Science, Kidzu and going to Glazed expectations in Carrboro. But my favorite thing to do is come up with creative craft ideas and see what we come up with. I really enjoy playing games, and depending on their age, I love playing dress up, being silly and simply snuggling while reading a book or having play dates with their friends and neighbors, playing hide and go seek. One of my favorite things, is hearing about their day. I can go on and on.
