I was a caregiver for a family for about two years in Bakersfield CA, in 2016. In addition, I ran a ridding lesson business for kids of all ages where they were dropped off in my care, then picked up when lessons were over. I had this business for three years.

I enjoy activities that allow children to learn and grow. As a seamstress by trade, I teach them how to make no sew pillows, or we can play board games, cards. The childs age is a factor so age appropriate activities.

In Bakersfield CA, I worked for a company called B.A.R.K. it was a learning center for Developmentally Disabled people of all ages. I was assigned to watch one specific individual as he needed one on one monitoring. Daily duties consisted of taking the group to a park, or shopping, a walk around the mall. Mental stimulation was the goal.

My favorite nanny moment is at the end of the long day, energy is expended and rest and relaxation is welcomed the kids have a mind full of knowledge that they've learned and will rest well as another day is done.

I do my best to build a relationship and rapport and I remain professional at all times. please inform me of any food allergies and I care for the safety, security and well-being of the child. I don't mind very lite housework ie.. vacuuming, folding and putting away dishes out of the dishwasher, washing the babies clothes. I expect to have house rules in hand so there is no miscommunication and to be paid on time. I prefer to do as little transportation as possible; unless it becomes absolutely necessary or if its for field trip or getting to take in a new scenery... such as the park or the mall... when weather permits.
