A little bit about me

My name is Donna Walker....I live in the Douglasville area....I have two adult children and two grandsons....I worked retail for 14 years and my job closed so I decided to go to school...I have my Associates in Early Childhood Education along with several Certificates in younger or smaller babies...I currently work for Georgia pre k where Iam responsible with my coworker for 22 kids between the age of 3 and 4 years old.I love what I do and enjoy the fun part and the teaching part...our kids are taught the fundamentals of education for their ages along with reading ,adding,subtracting,sight words and compound words, syllabus ....you name it we do it in our class,preparing them for Kindergarten with the assurance of being texted for the gifted program.I have been teaching for 6 years and I love what I do.I an a nurterer so the kids feel comfortable. I teach using the grog curriculum but we add alot to it....I would love to sit in and nanny a couple of hours on on the weekends.
