Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a dance teacher and have taught kids ages 3+. I have many years of assisting and teaching all types of kids and even camps. For the past few years I have been head of camp counselors and the dance camp we put on and camp counselors and local VBS during my summers. I also babysit on my free time most weekends.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depending on the child I am caring for, I usually have fashion shows, make up dances/plays, play hide and seek, water fights, and teach them how to bake or make some fun crazy snacks! If there are any family friends in the neighborhood we like to write fun notes and go on walks to drop them off! I also love drawing and painting and anything fun. I also get creative with fun craft ideas, to learn while also having fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having someone thats always there when you're growing up. Having parents that were always working and busy was always hard but having a nanny made it easier, and they were like a built in best friend someone else to look forward too. I'd love to be that for someone else as well!
My experience with special needs children...
Growing up, weekly I used to go to events where I would help special need children and adults learn and do fun things together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have never been a full time nanny, but I love babysitting and the one specific memory I have will always be the time I babysat two best friends and they put on a whole dance show and I got to help them create some dances, and we got to show to their parents.
