Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been working with children for the past 8 years. I started out
in my church’s nursery room by working in the Crawler’s Room (babies from a couple months to
1 1/2 years olds) and also in the Walker’s Room (toddlers 2-4 years old). I have babysat for
multiple families, from 1 to 5 kids at a time, with the oldest children I’ve watched being up to 12
years old. I started working as a mother’s helper in middle school, to a part-time nanny in high
school, and then after I graduated went straight into full-time nannying. I have been working full
time for the past 2 years, and have had a wonderful time with both families! With my first family,
I have worked with them twice now, once in the summer and another this past fall/winter before
they went into their daycare full time.

have taught many babies sign language. I also grew up with music and can play instruments but
mainly guitar and piano and I love seeing the same passion for music come alive in the kids that
I watch as well. I would often take the kids out (with the parent’s permission/encouragement) to
parks, gardens, and libraries.
