I worked there for about a year in the young infant class, I then went on to get my certification to be a nurses aide. After I passed my state test I was aiming to work on the mother baby unit but ended up working on the cardiac tele unit. I worked as a cna for almost two years when I realized working with kids is where my heart is at. I was lucky to get a part time job where I could have both the medical background and childcare background. I work a part time job now as a new born hearing tech! I get to work closely with mom and dad, I answer any and every questions they have to make them feel more comfortable and secure. Ive also gained a lot of experience working with NICU babies as well. I do want to continue my education in the medical field as I want to become a pediatric neurologist!
