Hi, you can call me Grace, I am currrntly working as a caregiver for elderly, and I previously worked as a caregiver for a lady who was quadreplegic (paralyzed). I took care of my niece and nephew, and had experience taking care of children when I was still a student. I am fond of music and I play a little bit of guitar. So there’s probably gonna be a lot of musical activities for the children, like singing and dancing. I like it when things are organized and neat, Incan do house chores. I can cook as well, and is willing to learn always.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

- [ ] You can call me Grace. I went to nursing school on the Philippines and came here after. I have a younger sister that has two children (3 years old and a 16months old) which I helped to take care of the babies. I am single and no children but I have always been fond of children, I used to always look forward whenever we go in pediatrics care hospital exposures, or when we go to communities and give care to children, also when we volunteer to school for children with special education needs. I look forward to meet you and your beautiful child/children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like doing anything interactive with chikdren, something that they want to do that is fun, learning is also fun like reading books, doing flashcards; specially when I see them very interested and is eager to learn something. I also like outdoors activities, whether going for a walk of visiting a play park. Just need to be extra cautious and make sure that the children doesn’t wander away. Safety is a priority as always.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me being a nanny is that I wanted to make sure that the parents trust me as well as the children. Being honest is a core value to build a good relationship, so that’s important to me too; vice versa.

My experience with special needs children...

I had experiece taking care of children with special needs when I was a student. I used to daycare children with autism and adhd. They can be difficult but just need a little bit of patience and uunderstanding. I also used to babysit my cousin who has adhd.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Mu favorite nanny moment is whenever a child shows affection to me, that’s how I know they trust me and looks up to me. Taking care if children can be overwhelming but it is very rewarding. I’ve always loved it whenever my nephew/niece would come to me and give me a hug then ask to be carried becauss they’re ready for bed.
