Hello, my name is Elana! I am fluent in English and Russian and I have four years of childcare experience in a preschool setting with children ages 1-5. I also have experience with special needs children and am currently working as a Registered Behavior Technician as an in-home ABA therapist. I've also volunteered at a Sunday program with kids ages 7-12 providing kids with a variety of activities for a year. I am a quick thinker and know how to entertain and promote learning with children in many different development stages. I also cook meals for myself and my family very often. As long as I find a good recipe I can make a wide variety of dishes. I'm a hard worker in school and have a background in dance and vocal. I had an incredibly sweet moment with a second grader that was in the cooking program of the Sunday Academy that I volunteered at. He was special needs and always had a lot of energy so I'd sit and talk with him about his life. In one of our many talks he told me that we were "besties" and I was one of the few volunteers that he'd listen to.
