Becoming part of the family. Ensuring that trust is in the forefront of my mind and always doing what the parents would do for their child when they are unable to. I personally had a nanny when my mother was dying from cancer and she was very hands on with me and my siblings and without her I think coping with the grief would have been impossible. She came on family trips and was always the person me and my siblings felt the most confident with and she became like another parent.

I've worked one on one with children with various cognitive or physical limitations and do not have any set way of doing things. Whatever the parent wants or needs for their child I go above and beyond to do.
