My shift ended, and I was about to leave, but the child wanted to play a few more rounds of kicking the ball back and forth. His dad said I didn't have to play with him if I didn't want too since my time was over, but I didn't mind playing with him because he seemed so excited. So I stayed for a little more and played ball with him.
