More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Nature walks with programming, I believe it is important for everyone especially kids to have time outside to explore and be adventurous.

Story time is an essential activity to for growing minds and helps bonding, my favorite series to read to kids is the Percy Jackson Series, a series of unfortunate events and magic treehouse.

Arts and crafts of a wide variety help engage and challenge littles at every stage. From painting, coloring, and drawing to knitting I just want kids to have an opportunity to express themselves.

Games! From board games and card games (mouse trap, Clue, monopoly, zingo and more!) to video games is an excellent way to see how someone creatively reacts to a given situation.

While not every family speaks two languages I have been known to tutor ages 6-14 in Spanish. Regularly using vocab cards, music and tv to build up to conversational skills. This sets an amazing foundation for middle and high school aged Spanish courses.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing a safe space for the whole family, and keeping up clear communication of expectations and needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience babysitting for children with ADHD, Autism, and dyslexia. I work closely with family, and all facets of a support systems to provide holistic care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Successfully helping a kiddo get their history grades up so they could attend their end of 8th grade field trip!

Breanna C. - Seeking Work in Washington

Part-Time Nanny Available in Washington, DC: Breanna C.

Hi, I’m Breanna! I have over nine years of experience as a professional nanny and am also a certified postpartum doula. Caring for children has always been more than just a career for me, it’s something I’m truly passionate about. Before becoming a full-time nanny, I worked as an infant and toddler teacher, which helped shape my understanding of early childhood development and the importance of creating a loving, supportive environment where children can thrive.

I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves. My approach to childcare is rooted in patience, kindness, consistency, and plenty of fun. Whether we’re reading stories, exploring outdoors, creating art, enjoying sensory play, or celebrating everyday milestones, I love finding meaningful ways to help children learn and grow while making lasting memories.
