Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking walks or just getting outside in the backyard to kick a ball around or play tag! I also like building things and solving puzzles or riddles!
My experience with special needs children...
I have had to deal with a particularly bright and sweet young boy named Sully. We was a four year old boy who struggled with ADD ADHD and was also on the spectrum. Him and his sister are both considered special needs due to his sisters feeding tube. I love these kids with all my heart and took on their challenges like they were my own!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think my favorite nanny moment was when these two brothers I babysat decided to have a water fight with their water bottles after I put them down, and I come in to their room to check on them and they are just soaked to the bone with these big eyes like a deer in the headlights, so I ended up drying the sheets and putting them in new pj's (and telling them this is not the place or time but that we can do this OUTSIDE the next day LOL) and tucked them in to nice warm sheets :)
