A little bit about me

I've been taking care of kids since I was one ! I'm also expecting a niece that I'm sure I will be taking care of at times which I'm so excited for ! I haven't attempted to find a job in childcare in awhile but I just recently lost my job indefinitely
and need to make a new way to provide for myself, I love kids and I know how to care for them. I know there are some people right now in need of that. so, to me becoming a nanny would be a win-win ! "I met Elijah through a mutual friend when i was looking for a temporary nanny. Elijah is the sweetest and most caring guy in the world. He really understood me and my kids and words can’t express how grateful I am for the way he treated all of us. After the first time I met with him and we spoke for awhile i felt like he was someone i could trust, like i’d known him longer than a day. He’s very aware and observant, he notices small changes and pays attention to things around him. He never missed a beat with my kids. We had him watch them on the weekends through January and February as my husband and I had many out of state meetings for our business. We have a 6 year old boy and 4 year old girl and they love him to death ! Next time I need a nanny he’s definitely someone i call first. If you need a nanny you can trust I would bet on him. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 4 siblings,, aged from 12-24. 3 of them I heavily assisted in raising that are currently 12 ,13 and 18. I've done everything from change diapers to drive to events. I also volunteered at the boys and girls club every summer from 13-18 in which I assisted in staffing children from 5-17. I've also volunteered at many events in my high school career when I was president of a community outreach and leadership club. I've painted faces, lead dances, created activities, so long and so forth. I've also babysat for family and friends on and off since a young age. I also as recently as college did an event with children when I was a cheerleader at Palomar college.

The most important part about being a nanny...

remembering that it's not just a job, you're playing a role in a young human(s)' life and the impressions you make will most likely be lasting so you gotta make sure they're good ones ! you must be understanding and empathetic, easy to talk to and trust, and you must remember to be warm and loving. a strong bond must be made to be a good nanny !
