One program my school offers is called Community Building (CB). In this program we watch over the younger kids during after school hours, along with homework help, and general wellness checks. In the past I have also worked for a similar program outside of school called Read Alliance, teaching kids how to read along with other social skills.

I enjoy activities like finger painting, building with blocks or Legos, story time with colorful books and interactive books are great. I also enjoy outdoor activities like nature walks, playing in the park, or simple ball games and all sports.

To me the most important part of being a nanny is developing an enjoyable and caring relationship with the kids. A happy and fulfilling experience is greatly enhanced by building trust, offering emotional support, and seeing to their wellbeing. The foundation of a healthy nanny-child relationship is communication, both with the kids and their parents.
