A little bit about me

I am 34 years young with extensive experience in childcare. In high school I worked at a daycare. I graduated early from Salisbury University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Spanish; there I worked primarily in Kindergarten classrooms in local schools. I ultimately did half of my student teaching in a Kindergarten class in Somerset County in Maryland, and half in a First Grade class at the Saint Croix Country Day School in the Virgin Islands. After Graduation I worked for a short time for a family with three children, ages 2, 4, and 6, as well a daycare at which I co-taught a class of two-year-olds. For many years after I cared for two lively boys on a full time basis in Baltimore. In addition, I worked part time at their school as a member of the before care staff and a substitute teacher. Since moving to Naples, I have divided my time between the service industry (where the money is at) and nannying part time (where my heart is at).
