A little bit about me

I am 37, a single mother to a now 19 year old. I grew up in Sonora California where I lived most of my life until June 2026, when I moved to Reno Nevada. My mother, growing up, was a licensed day care provider, and ran her business from home. Five days a week, sometimes more, we had eight kids, anywhere from a couple of months old to 12 year olds, at our house. Experiencing first hand the joy that came from being a huge part of all those kids life’s, is where my passion for wanting to work with children came from. One of my biggest beliefs in life is, especially when working with children, is the world is too full of wonder and life is too precious to waste time looking at a screen, when there is so much to be explored.
