A little bit about me

My name is Ellie Burns, I am the oldest child of six. Working with children has been a responsibility of mine since I was ten. It is something that came naturally to me having grown up with so many siblings around while also watching other parents children. I have worked with special Ed kids from ages 4-23 of all sorts of mental disorders on both sides of the spectrum. Nothing phases or surprises me now. Everything is a normal experience that needs to be handled with dignity and responsibility. I love reading, writing, singing, dancing, drawing, meeting people, playing games, playing outside, making jokes, watching cool movies. I know Sign Language and am learning Spanish. I worked with children in Colombia for six weeks over the summer of 2025 for a study abroad through Purdues Honors College.
