Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as an Assistant Teacher in preschool settings from 2021 to 2023. In this role, I managed classrooms spanning infants to pre-K, maintaining child-to-teacher ratios while lead teachers took breaks. Primarily focused on the 2-year-old classroom, I facilitated mealtime, nap schedules, and diaper changes, while overseeing outdoor activities. Collaborating with lead teachers, I contributed to weekly lesson plans targeting age-appropriate developmental milestones, including colors, numbers, and letters. I coordinated fine motor skills activities like pouring water and tracing. Additionally, I maintained daily communication with parents regarding their child's progress and behavior, providing updates and sending photos throughout the day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time outside, this includes going to parks, walking age friendly trails, pools when they're available, and outdoor play. I also love to have craft supplies on hand and like to color, and occasionally paint (when I feel like I can handle the mess lol) as well as getting the kids involved in helping me bake and cook as this is a fantastic way to develop those motor skills!
