While I've enjoyed gaining experience in a childcare setting, I've also realized that working in a larger facility isn't quite the right fit for me. I've always had a genuine passion for working with children, and I feel that I'm able to connect with them best in a smaller, more personal setting where I can give each child more individual attention and really get to know them. I've been babysitting since I was a teenager, and I've also had experience working as a nanny a few years ago. Those experiences have shown me how much I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for children while supporting their individual personalities, interests, and development.
