A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I began my early childhood education journey as a bilingual preschool assistant in Wallingford, teaching children ages 3-5. While there, I began nannying a 6-month-old infant because I missed caring and learning with children. So for 6 months I had been helping this infant grow and learn with their environment and language. Afterwards I became a preschool teacher teaching children ages 1. 5-2, and in January 2022 -September 2022 I became a nanny for two wonderful boys ages 2-3. Since then I took a leave of absence from September 2022 until now because I brought my own little bundle into this world in October 2022! Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing imaginative play with children, its so interesting seeing a world they come up with! Playing kickball, or practicing throwing balls to build their physical/coordination skills. Puzzles and matching games are super fun to do and they help with cognitive development, seeing how happy children react when they are completing a puzzle/matching set makes me happy! My favorite activity to do with children is Art, its a form of self expression and it's an activity that shines a light on their personality.
