A little bit about me

I have been working with children since I was a sophomore in high school and have always loved creating supportive, caring, and engaging environments for kids to grow in. A large part of my experience has been working closely with children with disabilities, especially kids with autism and Down syndrome, in both school and caregiving settings.

While attending Pomona College, I continued working with students through volunteer roles as a peer mentor and mental health support intern, experiences that strengthened my patience, communication, and ability to connect with young people and families. This past year, while preparing to begin graduate studies in counseling psychology, I worked full time as a paraprofessional supporting students in the classroom.

I genuinely enjoy building strong relationships with children and helping them feel safe, supported, and encouraged, and I’m excited to find a family to support over the summer!
