Playing outdoors and being active is really important and I enjoy doing that with them. I also enjoy being artistic and doing crafts and such. I think you have to find out what the kids enjoy and what their interests are and incorporate that into the time with them but also give them outlets to try new things and see what else is fun.

I have limited experience with special needs children except interactions within the high school and helping in the classroom. I enjoy them and enjoy helping them.
