I was an elementary intern for two months, and had a blast! I had some amazing students, and I loved working with them. I have also had the opportunity to have been a preschool support teacher, which was an amazing experience!

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me about being nanny is that at the end of the day, the children under my care feel safe and loved. Because of this belief, I am as gentle as I can be with children and try not to raise my voice. I believe children are very special people, and I will do all I can to help children entrusted to my care know that they are safe with me and that they are loved.
My experience with special needs children...
I had the opportunity to work with special needs children as a peer mentor in high school, however, I was not the individual principally in charge of their wellbeing throughout the day. If your child has special needs I would love to be trained how to take care of your child to make sure that they are safe and loved, and that parents feel at ease while they are in my care.
