Originally from the Dominican Republic, I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Nursing. My professional experience spans pediatric and NICU units, hospice and geriatric care, as well as surgical and operating rooms. Due to a medical condition, I transitioned from full-time work to volunteering at hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. Growing up as the third youngest in a family of 11, I frequently cared for my older siblings' children and my younger siblings, which nurtured my love for caregiving. As a proud mother of three beautiful daughters, I understand the importance of a loving and supportive environment. In addition to my volunteer work, I now focus exclusively on housekeeping and child care. While I understand English, I am most comfortable speaking in my native language, Spanish. In addition to my professional caregiving experience, I have personal and professional experience caring for children with a variety of special needs. Two of my daughters are autistic and have ADHD, which has provided me with firsthand insight and deep empathy in supporting their unique challenges and strengths. I have also cared for children with diabetes, ensuring they receive proper monitoring and support with their dietary and insulin needs. Additionally, I have experience caring for children with cerebral palsy, where I focus on mobility assistance, therapeutic exercises, and creating an inclusive environment that supports their development and well-being.
